Black Alumni Weekend
One of W&L's signature weekends, Black Alumni Weekend welcomes alumni back to campus to reminisce about W&L while also planning for its future.
The goal of W&L's affinity programs is to increase engagement among alumni groups, particularly those who may have lost touch with the university since graduation, by appealing to their varying interests and identities.
A significant aspect of W&L's affinity programs is its events, which seek to re-engage alumni based on shared interests and identities in-person. Alumni Engagement will work hand in hand with alumni to create authentic on- and off-campus events based on specific affinities. Affinity events may be part of existing alumni-focused weekends or alumni chapter events. Affinity Programs may also host designated days, weekends and/or trips (potentially in conjunction with Lifelong Learning) to highlight different affinities on- and off-campus.
