If you're a prospective student please consider scheduling a visit with our admissions office. We would love to give you a tour of our beautiful campus and learn more about your future goals.

The Arts

W&L's Lenfest Center for the Arts hosts more than 100 music, theater and dance performances each year, by both student and professional ensembles.

Washington and Lee has three libraries, two on undergraduate campus and one at the Law School. Libraries are open 24/7 to W&L students, faculty and staff when classes are in session. The general public is welcome between 6:00am and 10:00pm throughout the week.

Our museums include Lee Chapel and Museum, the Reeves Museum of Ceramics and Watson Pavilion, offering permanent and rotating exhibits on art and history. The Japanese Tearoom serves as a classroom for the Way of Tea, and a center for cultural activities relating Japanese arts.

W&L offers 24 varsity sports as well as club and intramurals. We compete at the NCAA Division III level and regularly claim championships in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference. Home games are typically free and open to the public.
