Mock Convention
Since 1908, W&L's student-run Mock Convention has aimed to predict who the party out of power in the White House will nominate to run for President of the United States. It's one of the most ambitious, non-partisan student political research projects in the country, and you won't want to miss a minute.
Commencement
The 233rd undergraduate commencement will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. on the Front Lawn of the main campus. The Baccalaureate Service will be held the day before, on Wednesday, May 27, 2020, at 10:00 a.m., also on the Front Lawn. Tickets are not required for commencement events.
Parents and Family Weekend
Join us for Washington and Lee's 66th annual Parents & Family Weekend celebration on Sept. 25-27, 2020, when we honor the parents and families of our students. The weekend will combine informational and recreational activities, giving parents the opportunity to meet with members of the faculty, experience campus life, and participate in social events.
In Your City
W&L has over 75 alumni chapters in the U.S. and abroad. From Summer Send-Off parties for new students to Welcome to the City events for recent graduates, parents are invited to attend local chapter events as part of the W&L community.
