The Parents Leadership Council W&L's Most Generous Parents
The Parents Leadership Council (PLC) is a group of generous and engaged parents who provide annual financial support to the Parents Fund of $5,000 or more. PLC members provide the foundation for the Parents Fund each year. Sixty-three percent of the Parents Fund total came from members of the Parents Leadership Council in 2019. The mission of the PLC is to facilitate strong philanthropic support from our parent community, to provide a parent perspective on university affairs to administrators and staff, and to help foster a warm and welcoming environment for all W&L families. In addition, being part of the Parents Leadership Council offers a unique way to participate in your child's education and to meet and network with other W&L parents.
PLC members can look forward to:
- A special reception during fall Parents Weekend
- The popular on-campus PLC Spring Weekend, which includes a fun and meaningful informational session and social activities
- Regular communications from university leaders
- Commencement day breakfast on the historic front campus
- Networking opportunities with fellow parents
