Upper-Division Housing

Sophomores and juniors are required to live in university housing in a variety of group settings including traditional residence halls, apartments, townhouses, Greek and themed housing. Rising seniors typically secure living arrangements off-campus, but a limited number of rooms are usually available for seniors who want to remain on campus.

Special Requests

Rooms with facilities for students with disabilities are available in singles and doubles, with no additional charge when a single room is approved as a disability accommodation. Service and emotional-assistance animals are allowed on campus and in housing in accordance with the Fair Housing Act, Virginia Fair Housing Law and University Policy.

Greek Housing

Starting sophomore year, members of sororities and fraternities are allowed to live in their chapter's house. Each house has its own amenities and living arrangements. All houses have a house director who helps to manage the day-to-day affairs of the house as well as provide support to chapter members.
